We are located inside the Isaac Staples Sawmill building at 402 Main Street North. Enter through the right-most double doors, and go up to the Third floor, suite 350 (follow the signs). You can park in the parking lot across the street (it’s for our building) or on the street.
There is ample free parking for our building directly across the street in the private parking lot. There is also free street parking (up to three hours).
We do not bill insurance and are considered out of pocket/private pay. You may use your health savings account or flexible spending account funds for physical therapy services. We can provide an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance company for possible “out of network physical therapy” reimbursement (call your insurance company to verify if you have these benefits).
We ask for 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule a private session or group class session. If the client does not give proper notice, they will be charged the full service amount. Exceptions made for illness or emergencies.
If you can not attend class, please cancel yourself from the online class roster as soon as possible. If within 24-hours, please let your instructor know. If you are unable to make it for your private service appointment please let your provider know as soon as possible.
Please do not attend classes or private appointments if you are sick. In case of an injury, please contact us prior to discuss your case details. Also, always let your class instructor know of any injuries, pains or issues. Please listen to your body and do not perform anything that causes pain. If you are pregnant, Pilates can be a good workout option, however please discuss prior with your Doctor or physical therapist to obtain guidance and clearance. Always contact us with questions or concerns regarding classes or services.
No need to bring anything in particular, as we provide all equipment and mats you’ll need. However, we do recommend bringing a water bottle and dress in comfortable workout clothing. You are welcome to use your own mat for yoga if you’d like.
Yes! We are always accepting new clients and are happy to have you. If you are new to yoga or Pilates please let your instructor know. If you are new to Reformer Pilates classes and have particular concerns, please contact us directly to discuss beginner/foundational class options. We also offer private Pilates classes 1:1 with the instructor.
Reformer Pilates is performed on large “reformer” machines that provide resistance. A client will likely be guided in exercises in various positions such as supine, prone, kneeling, seated and standing (modifications can be given). Mat Pilates is generally performed on a mat surface using small props and body weight.
You may come to Pilates class daily if you would like. Many clients see the best results with consistency and attend multiple classes a week. Please contact us directly with questions regarding frequency of attendance in your particular case or speak with your instructor.
Payment is collected at the time of service. We accept cash, check or credit card (however prefer cash or check to avoid extra fees).
A single Pilates class costs $32. We offer Pilates prepaid packages = discount of $7/class (can buy 4-pack, 8-pack or 12-pack). These packages expire one year after purchase.
Please speak with your instructor if you’d like to be a “regular client” in a particular Pilates class each week. This means your instructor signs you up/holds your spot in that class. We ask that you give at least 24-hour notice if you are unable to attend class so that your instructor can remove you from the roster. Please note that improper notice = full charge.
